Love is in the air! In honor of Valentine’s Day, TrustRadius scoured its database of over 168,000 reviews (of 4,185 products) to find the ones that users loved the most for its first ever TrustRadius Love Report. They looked at every review they ever received, and EZ Texting emerged as a most-loved pick!

TrustRadius explained their process as, “comparing mentions of ‘love’ in all its (grammatical) forms to the total number of reviews we’ve received of each product.” That means that EZ Texting literally received lots of love from their customers to get ranked on this list!

Luke Wilson returned to his mentorship series with local Mission of Hope Haiti interns to talk about the importance of a “seek to understand” mindset. This week he brought Kara Perez, a longtime banking professional, to help coach the future leaders. Luke encouraged students to “bridge the human gap” and pay attention to the people they interact with. That means noticing body language. It also means actively listening to others and focusing on what they say. He pointed out that you have to be interested and truly care about the perspective of others to communicate at a higher level.

Emotion and Ego

Luke explained that when you’re trying to understand another, you need to be aware of emotion and ego. He encouraged the students to avoid the negative aspects of both. Arrogant and fearful attitudes generally push people away, rather than encouraging understanding. He explained that success relies on positive relationships with friends, family and mentors. Last week, EZ Texting’s CRO kicked off his series of mentorship talks with a group of Mission of Hope Haiti interns. This week, Luke Wilson returned with our Vice President of Finance, Janice McNair to teach the young leaders about growth versus fixed mindset. After talking about the basic concept, they gave personal examples about facing challenges and finding balance. It turns out that having a growth mindset can provide a template for growth and achievement that a fixed mindset doesn’t allow for.

What is a Fixed Mindset?

At EZ Texting we want to make it as easy as possible to succeed at sending your text campaigns. Here are simple answers to the most-asked EZ Texting Customer Questions.

1. I sent myself a text message, but I haven't received it yet. What's going on?

Sometimes you won’t receive a message because you’ve opted out of receiving texts on that number before. To check if you’re opted out, text the word “HELP” to your short code number. If you receive back a message saying to call us, you’re not blocked, and you should try again. If you don’t receive a message back or receive a message saying, “Service Access Denied,” you'll need to call your phone carrier and ask to remove a “short code block” on your account.

2. The system is not accepting my contact list. Why is that?

First check what format your customers list is in. EZ Texting accepts XLS, XLSX and CSV files. Each row should represent a single contact. It's best to place your phone numbers in the first column followed by fields like first name, last name, email, and note. Only phone number is required. A Paw-some Afternoon with EZ Texting and Wags & Walks

Nothing compares to the love of a good dog – except supporting an organization that gives that love back! This June, EZ Texting was privileged to get a visit from the four-legged friends from Wags & Walks – a rapidly growing dog rescue organization in Los Angeles.

EZ Texting’s dog-friendly Santa Monica office got the chance to meet with several adorable rescues and their intrepid, volunteer caretakers. EZ Texting also made a contribution to this worthwhile organization.

In addition to lots of petting and hugs, Wags & Walks also shared information on the 3,500+ dogs they’ve saved to date from high-kill shelters, as well as their adoption process and foster programs.

EZ Texting employees sure love dogs, and were happy to have the chance to celebrate with Wags & Walks!
