Role Overview: 

EZ Texting is looking for a passionate frontline manager to develop and manage our inbound, Mid-Market SDR (Sales Development Representative) team. Your main focus will be ensuring your team is delivering a repeatable & profitable pipeline, and developing potential future AEs. These two objectives are crucial in scaling the sales organization and providing a predictable revenue and profit stream. You will measure SDR performance by demos set & held, and pipeline generated. You will be expected to monitor & coach daily activity inputs such as calls & emails, and work with Sales leadership to ensure upmarket profitable SDR opportunities are closing. Your entrepreneurship will be a valuable contribution to developing EZ Texting’s sales strategy, increasing the size and impact of the team and establishing a culture of crisp execution. This role reports directly to our Director of Sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a remote team of 6-8, ‘Inbound’ SDRs
  • Provide day to day coaching & professional development, including weekly 1:1 meetings, weekly shadow sessions, and routine co-selling
  • Understand the nuances between verticals within our ideal customer profile segments
  • Continue to grow the team through recruiting, onboarding, and training new SDRs
  • Drive strategic initiatives across SDR team to increase profit contribution
  • Optimize the SDR program across all our KPIs and deliver ROI
  • Track and communicate weekly goals to the team to drive consistent performance week over week

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of experience building and managing a sales development or sales team
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • A track record of problem-solving and excited to try new ideas and concepts
  • Ability, knowledge, and hunger to step in and coach on a daily basis: inclusive of tactical management of reps, shadowing/coaching of outbound calls & written outreach, and superior knowledge in SFDC operations
  • Background of hiring, training, and enabling reps for success, with strong performance management skills, in a remote environment
  • Impeccable organizational and time management skills
