Customers actually prefer texting with real estate agents and other businesses over talking on the phone or replying to emails. Just like email, sending bulk SMS for real estate marketing purposes is an opt-in-only activity. That means that the recipients have to give prior consent to receive marketing text  blasts. There are a few simple ways to build SMS into your real estate digital and mobile marketing processes: Embed a sign-up form on your website, share a link to a sign-up form in an email, allow prospective clients to subscribe via a Keyword and textable number, or have the lead initiate a text conversation with your textable number.

Many brokerages are using platforms that provide agent-friendly SMS marketing. Text message marketing for real estate can help generate new leads and close more sales with quick, responsive client communication. Information about a property including asking price and sale prices of similar properties can be texted.
