Vijesh Mehta

Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder

Vijesh Mehta has over 10 years of experience taking web-based services to market and sits on the board of four major companies with web-based platforms. He also has extensive experience in shaping corporate strategy and exceptional knowledge of highly scalable software architectures. His previous endeavors include the widely recognized consulting firm Skyy Consulting, which developed one of the largest open-source telecom platforms available today. Vijesh got his first computer at age 8, at which point he proceeded to write his first lines of code in Basic while trying to get a game to work.

Chief Growth Officer, Chief Data Scientist & Co-Founder

Punit Shah is an expert at creating, transforming, and maximizing data driven, low friction businesses. Shah has had repeat success in creating industry leading marketing efficiency through online channels and developing high ROI, easy to use, online products to meet the needs of wide underserved markets. Shah’s leadership approach drives growth through a harmonious combination of scalable data analysis & reporting, crisp goals, powerful vision, deep empathy, and strong culture. Shah is an active advisor to companies that engage his interests and expertise. He also spends as much of his time as possible mentoring and guiding his contacts on how to achieve the next phase of professional and personal growth.

Janice McNair

Janice McNair

Chief Financial Officer

Janice McNair is an strategic finance executive who thrives on scaling organizations and driving growth initiatives. She has more than 20 years of finance and operating experience with Fortune 500, growth and startup companies. Prior to joining EZ Texting, McNair launched an independent consulting firm focused on corporate finance, business launch and strategy in the digital media, ad tech, gaming and technology industries. As a VP in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs, she closed more than 20 financing, merger and strategic transactions for technology, entertainment, media and telecommunications companies. She started her career at J.P. Morgan. She has a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Boston College in Finance and Economics and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.

TJ Thinakaran

TJ Thinakaran

Chief Operations Officer & Co-Founder

TJ is responsible for day-to-day operations at EZ Texting, as well as overseeing EZ Texting's major corporate development initiatives. He also leads EZ Texting's Governance, Risk & Compliance efforts. He has more than a decade of experience in software solutions and architectures. Before co-founding EZ Texting, he worked at IBM Corporation, where he consistently delivered results on high-visibility, high-risk projects. When not at his desk, you'll find TJ on his yoga mat or cycling the canyons of the Santa Monica mountains.

Luke Wilson

Luke Wilson

Chief Revenue Officer

Luke Wilson was raised working in and among small businesses, and seeing the impact those organizations had on their communities. That experience — combined with a BS in Economics from Indiana State University — instilled in him a dedication to empowering such businesses to become more efficient and effective. Luke comes to EZ Texting from Angie’s List, Main Street Hub, and YourMembership, where he built and guided teams laser-focused on providing best-in-class solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). On warm weekends, he can be found relaxing lakeside in Austin, TX.

Matt Reid

Matt Reid

Chief Marketing Officer

With more than 20 years of marketing, strategy, and management experience at various technology companies he currently oversees global marketing. Prior to EZ Texting, Reid served as vice president of marketing for Velocify, a market-leading SaaS provider of sales automation technology acquired by Ellie Mae in late 2017. He also led marketing for adtech company OpenX and built the sales and marketing teams for Eucalyptus Systems, an open-source platform acquired by HP. Reid also led product marketing for all SaaS technologies at Citrix, directing the initial market launches of GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar. Reid earned his Master of Business Administration degree in marketing at California State University, Sacramento, and dual bachelor’s degrees at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Jarod Lam

Jarod Lam

VP of Product Management

Jarod Lam is a product management executive with almost 20 years of experience in technology with roots in Silicon Valley in both small startups and large organizations. Originally on a path to medical school, he found the explosive growth of the internet far more exciting when he was pursuing his Molecular Biology degree at UC Berkeley. He has experience in building products and websites that scale to hundreds of millions of users. Prior to joining EZ Texting, Jarod has built products at Google, PayPal, Hulu, and eHarmony. Occasionally, he'll provide mentorship to small startup founders in the local startup community. In his spare time, you can find him behind the wheel canyon carving through windy LA roads or enjoying the great LA beaches and lifestyle.

Pete Chung

Member, Board of Directors

Pete Chung is a Managing Director and Head of Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and Co-Head and Managing Member of Morgan Stanley Venture Partners ("MSVP"), Morgan Stanley's technology and healthcare focused late-stage funds. Previously, Pete co-founded Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, the strategic investment arm of Morgan Stanley Technology Investment Banking, and Pete was also involved with Morgan Stanley Principal Investment's growth equity investing activity. Pete joined Morgan Stanley Technology Investment Banking in 1993 and helped open Morgan Stanley's first Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park in 1994. Pete is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Charles Hilliard

Charles is a senior executive with 25 years of strategic, operating, and financial management experience, including leading two venture-backed technology start-ups through $1 billion+ IPOs. Previously, he was an Advisor at Dropbox, a leading cloud-based storage and file sharing company, and Special Advisor to the Board of Directors at Demand Media (NYSE: DMD), a leading digital media company. Prior to that, Charles was President & CFO of Demand Media, managing over 100 personnel and all aspects of accounting, finance, legal, and IT operations. During his five-year tenure, the company tripled annual revenue to over $350 million, returned 5.6x to common shareholders, closed several strategic acquisitions, raised $135 million in private growth equity and, in January 2011, raised $174 million in the first US Internet IPO to achieve a market capitalization of over $1 billion since Google. Previously, he served as President and CFO of United Online (NASDAQ: UNTD), starting as CFO of its predecessor, NetZero. During an eight-year tenure, the company achieved a 100-fold increase in annual revenues to over $500 million, returned 16.8x to common shareholders, and became a member of the Standard & Poor’s 600 Index. A former investment banker involved with the successful execution of over $30 billion of financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Select clients included Time Warner, Disney, Coca-Cola, Harrah's Entertainment, Digital Equipment Corp, Times Mirror and Office Depot. Licensed CPA with extensive public reporting and SEC experience, including successfully appearing before the SEC's Office of the Chief Accountant (OCA).

Ravi Sarin

Member, Board of Directors

Ravi Sarin is an Investor at ROCA Partners. Mr. Sarin previously was a Principal in the Private Equity Group at Ares Management. At Ares, Mr. Sarin helped lead investments in healthcare services, retail, and gaming, lodging & leisure among a few other sectors and served on the Board of Directors of Floor and Decor, Jacuzzi Brands, OB Hospitalist Group and Unified Physician Management. Prior to Ares, Mr. Sarin was a private equity investor at Bain Capital and a consultant at Bain & Company. Mr. Sarin has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MS in Management Science & Engineering and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
