Marco Christopher Raye is a marketing specialist with over a decade of experience building and enhancing brands through targeted and engaging content.
A spring 2011 graduate of The University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a BA in English (concentrating in Professional Writing), Raye began work in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Content Writer and Internet Marketing Specialist for a small digital marketing agency focused on search engine optimization.
From late 2013 to 2019, Raye served as a Content Marketing Manager, expanding his skillset beyond SEO content development. He delved into multi-channel marketing orchestration, lead generation, creative design, sales enablement, search engine marketing, email marketing, media buying, traditional advertising, and social media management.
In 2020, Raye embarked on a new chapter in his career, relocating to the Bay Area to explore the intersection of content marketing and technology. There, he started working for a shipping and logistics SaaS platform and a P2P messaging platform, broadening his portfolio. In 2022, he made another pivot, this time to text marketing, when he joined EZ Texting.
His published works, optimized for diverse target audiences, span industries such as commercial retail, cosmetic surgery, digital marketing, immigration law, environmental sustainability, publishing, shipping, and logistics, as well as P2P and text marketing.
Raye’s also provided content for brands and organizations, including SleepNumber, Novant Health, Charlotte Plastic Surgery, Garfinkel Immigration Law Firm, and others.
A left-handed, dual citizen with an affinity for cooking, gardening, and competitive swimming, outside of the office, Raye’s also an inspirational fiction author of “The King,” independently published as a second edition in 2019.
